MSKU at the Sport Medicine Centre

Target Audience: Physicians, physiotherapists, athletic therapists, residents & students

 

MSKU is an innovative course designed to teach musculoskeletal medicine in a new way with emphasis on skill   acquisition and retention.

The Vision of MSKU is to make the physical examination easier and the Mission is to teach the MSK examination through interactive smart-phone/on-line video to all disciplines.

All Class times: 4:30pm-6:00pm (90 minutes)

PLEASE NOTE: AS THE COURSE MATERIAL FOR THE FEBRUARY 9 CLASS WAS NOT COMPLETED,
WE WILL BE CONTINUING THE TOPIC OF KNEE AND LOWER EXTREMITIES IN THE MARCH 8 CLASS.

ONE OR TWO PATIENTS WILL BE PRESENT FOR THIS CLASS.

Session 1.  An Introduction to MSKU: the probabilistic approach to figuring out MSK problems.

Session 3. Principles and Axioms of the MSK physical examination: What is normal? How to understand variation between patients? Why is everything so difficult and how to make it easier!
